Judge Bonnie Rangel’s Corruption & Sex Scandal”
Naked Harem Owners reveal explosive allegations against El Paso Judge Bonnie Rangel of Texas 171st District Court. The long unheard cry’s of corruption by the owners of the Naked Harem Club are finally proving to be true. The case of Phyllis Woodall & Jeannie Coutta, owners of the Naked Harem started years ago but climaxed in 06’ when Woodall was convicted of promoting prostitution in Judge Bonnie Rangel’s Court, and sentenced to Sixteen Years in prison.
All along Woodall claimed her innocence and stating she was being framed; then it came to light that the City was offering total immunity against prosecution to Drug Dealers, Admitted Prostitutes, El Paso Sheriff Deputy, a Fire Fighter, a man with Organized Crime Ties, and a former Military Deserter with documented Mental Illness & prior suicide attempts. All to testify against Woodall, who had no prior criminal convictions and has paid Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars in business taxes. Woodall stated she felt the Judge was prejudicial against her, since Rangel had denied several motions by Woodall’s Lawyers to allow evidence that could prove her innocence.
Ultimately Woodall and Co Owner of the Naked Harem Jeannie Coutta asked for a new Judge to try the case because they felt Judge Rangel would not allow them the opportunity of a fair trial. Judge Rangel refused to step down and elected to stay on the case herself. Now it has just been learned, El Paso Police had a Club Employee (Frank Javier Cisneros), illegally place hidden cameras in the Club’s private rooms without a Court Order to do so (a violation of Woodall & Coutta’s civil rights).
Woodall & Coutta are filing documents to have Judge Rangel removed from the case; and reported to the Judicial Grievance Committee and The Texas Bar Association. According to Naked Harem Owners Judge Bonnie Rangel allegedly attempted to solicit one of the Naked Harem’s Female Dancers, into a 3 way sex liaison for money; with herself and an undisclosed male, after a wedding reception which all three attended.
The Dancer refused the threesome, but felt that Judge Rangel continued to harbor animosity toward her and the Naked Harem after the refusal. Woodall & Coutta felt Judge Rangel knowing the Dancer at the Naked Harem was witness in the case, should have removed herself because of potential for personal conflicts. Not doing so has likely cost Woodall a 16 year sentence, & almost 2 years in jail; plus hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees, and a denial of basic civil rights to a fair and unbiased trial. It is obvious this was PERSONAL REVENGE for Judge Rangel, when you consider she could have given Woodall as little as 2 years, or just probation considering her clean criminal history. Yet Judge Rangel elected to sentence Woodall to 16 years... more time than many MURDERERS have received... Is That Justice?
This kind of corruption can not be allowed to stand in El Paso; It is time for the Widow’s Daughter (Woodall), to find a Square deal in a Court of Law. Not corrupt favoritism and manipulation of the Judicial System for personal revenge or gain. So many aspect of the case against the Naked Harem held contradictions & inconsistencies which should have raised questions; But Judge Rangel refused to allow them into evidence. Now with these allegations and the fact that Judge Bonnie Rangel herself is known to frequent El Paso Strip Clubs, there seems to be a clear appearance of Moral and Legal impropriety, with the Judge herself being the Guilty Party.
Now 04/17/2008 Judge Rangel has ordered Coutta arrested and held on a $300,000 bail in an attempt to silence her about these allegations, as well as the tape recordings Coutta has in her possession, confirming her past defense attorney (Jesse Herrera), saying that Judge Rangel and he were intimately close, and the Judge would make sure Coutta did no jail time (with proper motivation). -hint $$$$$$$$
Coutta attempted to hire a new defense attorney David Botsford (a well respected Attorney) from Austin (who wants to take the case); But so far Judge Rangel has refused to allow it, and instead has appointed a "over worked" Public Defender (Bruce Pounder) at the City's expense, knowing full well Coutta could afford, and wanted to hire her own Private Attorney.
Public Defender Bruce Pounder seems to have more integrity than the Judge; upon his learning the allegations Judge Bonnie Rangel tried to have sex with one of the Naked Harem Dancers, and Tape Recordings of Attorney Herrera's conversations concerning Judge Rangel; in addition to the Judge forcing him to be ready to defend such a complicated case by May 16th., he resigned from the case against the Judge's wishes.
The City Attorney's Office reportedly offered Coutta no jail time and a misdemeanor conviction if she will simply give the City The Naked Harem Club and her Motel... Sounds like someone wants their money and property more than anything! Coutta has refused and says she wants her day in Court, (a Fair Unbiased Court); Something she may never get under Judge Bonnie Rangel. This case is fastly snowballing into a major corruption scandal, and needs an FBI Investigation. The City of El Paso will have a Black Eye behind this one, if the Mayor doesn't tell the City Attorney's Office & Judge to show some integrity! It only makes you ask:
